Find them.

There is no third chair. You stand with the children still unaccounted for, or you stand with the officials who lost them and still block the search. This journal stands with the children. Not as a jersey. As a missing-persons file the size of a city. ICE owns that search. Until they are found, this is the lead.

Find them. All of them. Anyone standing in the door chose the sponsor.

DHS puts the Biden-era pipeline at about 450,000 children smuggled across the southwest border and released to sponsors. HHS's own count, released by Chairman Grassley: 468,736 unaccompanied children in ORR care from FY2021 through FY2024. In June 2026, DHS said a joint ICE–HHS effort had located 146,000. Nearly 300,000 remain unaccounted for. That is not a caption. That is a welfare check that was never finished, times a third of a million names.

What they endure — the record, not a scene

This page will not describe a child's body to make a point. The file is ugly enough in nouns. Debt bondage to the smuggler who is still on the phone. Labor that is not a summer job: roofing, slaughter, night shifts, a 14-year-old under a name that is not hers. Sexual violence on the journey and at the sponsor's address — named as the crime it is, not drawn. Hunger as a tool. A locked room. A threat against the family still south of the river if the child talks. HHS left more than 65,000 reports sitting. Inside that pile: more than 7,300 reports of human trafficking. The New York Times, 2023: migrant children in American plants and on American roofs while the agencies that placed them lost the forwarding address. Grassley: 11,488 children placed with non-parent sponsors who were not fingerprinted. More than 79,000 children under twelve released without a home study. That is the endurance. Not a movie. A system.

A politician who wants ICE kept off that door is not confused about the endurance. He is choosing it. HSI knocks because a report sat in a drawer. If you stop the knock, the report dies, and the child stays in the room. Call that protest if you need the costume. The child does not get a costume. The child gets another night.

The scream, without a party hat

Epstein is a real file. Play it. Publish the names. Using it as the only file is how a party that ran the border for four years steals the room. Open-border victims are not a narrative. They are the inventory the cartels sold and HHS mislaid. The hypocrisy is the indifference: a chyron about a billionaire's island, and a shrug about a 12-year-old handed to a stranger with no fingerprint card because the White House needed the numbers off the television.

18 U.S.C. 1591 already names sex trafficking of children. 1589 already names forced labor. You do not need a new slogan. You need the door opened, the list worked, the child seen by a person whose job is the child and not the chyron. Trump's agencies found 146,000. They are still looking. The world does not get to look away because the victims did not vote here. A moral compass that cannot find a missing child is not a compass. Find them. The next two pieces are who got paid for the door, and which party now wants the search abolished. Start here. Stay here until the count is zero.
